The Fender Custom Shop American Custom Telecaster® Thinline NOS delivers iconic hollowbody tone and feel with the playability of a solidbody. Its lightweight, resonant ash body features F-hole cutouts that let the guitar sing with rich, complex overtones. The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish wears naturally for a road-played look while allowing the wood to vibrate freely.
The premium specs continue with a quartersawn 2A birdseye maple neck topped with a 3A rosewood. The neck has a comfortable '60s oval “C" profile, 22 Narrow Tall frets, and a bone nut. Vintage-style tuning machines provide rock-solid tuning stability. This Tele gets its classic voice from a Custom Shop Hand-Wound ‘64 single-coil neck pickup and Custom Shop Hand-Wound Original Blackguard single-coil bridge pickup. The 3-way blade switch enables the bridge pickup alone, neck pickup alone, or both pickups together. Master volume and blend controls allow further tonal shaping.
